Adam Kops, an award winning sculptor has had several one-man shows and participated in many exhibitions. He works mainly in steel from material found in scrap yards. These ‘found’ pieces are welded together to create his own unique vision, concerned mainly with the human head. Despite the harsh nature of his material his work is ironic yet full of wit.
His reviews have been excellent:-
“Undeniably an artist to look out for.” The Observer.
“The works impress by their sheer vitality, emotional force and individuality.” The Jewish Chronicle”.
“Kops brings a distinctive lightness of touch to the steel from which his sculptures are constructed.” The Guardian.
